Whether you join our Virtual Group or not, feel free to come to our meetings. These are held on the last Thursday of alternate months. We will read and talk about submitted work, and agree on some future ideas. If you would like to come, Click on the e-mail button, tell us who you are and we’ll reply with the dates of next meeting and the location.

Would You like to see your Stories or Poems regularly Published here? If So....
Join our Online Writers’ Group for a year by filling in the e-form, which will open when you click on the ‘Join now’ button.
We will reply to your e-mail address telling you where to send your Subscription of £12.00. This will entitle you to submit to us up to twelve stories/poems, by e-mail, over the next twelve months.
We will either publish at least two of these, free of further charge on this site, or if none of them seem suitable we will undertake to send at least two of your best entries back to you, edited, and with guidance on how to improve them.
If you wish, you can send any amended stories back to us within the 12mths, to try again.
The founder members’ decision as to what is published is final!

When you join the Group, we will tell you how you can access the Members page There you can contact other Members to inform about Competitions, Groups, and other literary activities, and you can comment on, and make suggestions about Penultimate-E. We will also tell you where to find all the poems and stories that have been Archived, since the group was formed.

Please put the title of your work in the subject line, and send your entry as an attachment to the e-mail.
Short Stories should be in Ariel 12 font, single spaced and no longer than 2,500 words. Poems should be no longer than 50 lines and in Ariel 12 font.
No illustrations please!

You retain the copyright on work you submit to this site.
Anything you submit should not infringe another writer’s copyright.
We will ask permission of the author before publishing any work in printed form.

If we receive anything we consider to be pornographic or which might be considered offensive under British Law we shall not publish it, and if appropriate will report the matter to the police.
